Process:

This was one of the first self portraits I ever took. I was visiting the MOMA in San Francisco and wanted to outline my frame against the light sculpture i the background. I set up my camera against a nearby wall and set it to burst mode. I really liked the product and this project's promt immediately reminded me of this photo. I chose to add the quote fromVirginia Woolf because I firs too all love her writing, and I really do believe that if we are not true to ourselves than we are nothing.

Critique:

I took this photo with my Sony DSLR camera about four years ago, and I do not remember the exact camera settings.

25 Words to Describe me: Courageous, original, kind-hearted, gentle, strong, intelligent, smart, brave, determined, ambiverted, talkative, attentive, ambitious, sensitive, understanding, adventurous, loving, sweet, welcoming, joyful, polite, sympathetic, helpful, loyal, and decisive.

Video Review:

I really liked the video for this project. The woman who filmed it clearly had a lot of experience and expertise in doing what she was talking about. She was bubbly and thorough with every method she demonstrated. I especially liked her tips for how to take photos from above. I have never tried this method before but it looks really cool to try and she walked the viewer through the process so I understood it easily. I have used many of the methods she gave tips on in the first half of the video, like setting your phone against a support system, framing the subject, and using burst and screenshot to get photos.
